Practice Nurses

Sue Rees is our nurse practitioner and is able to prescribe for many common medical ailments. She is supported by our practice nurses,  Nikki and Carol and our healthcare assistant Michelle. As a team they are are able to provide general and specialist health advice. They are trained in the management of chronic disease, smoking cessation, travel and family planning.

District Nurses

The district nurse team are employed by Central Surrey Health. Their priority is to those patients who are housebound; assessing their diverse needs, delivering care and liaising with the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.

Midwives & Health Visitor

Midwives from East Surrey Hospital hold twice weekly antenatal clinics at the surgery. All aspects of care for your pregnancy are provided including parentcraft classes. There is also a health visitor attached to Medwyn Surgery. She is able to provide advice on all aspects of your childs development, as well as providing support for new mums.

Administration Team

Our administration team support the clinical and reception staff in managing the day-to-day running of the surgery. They provide an essential role in helping you with your queries and ensure the efficient functioning of the surgery.

Receptionists

Our reception staff provide your first point of contact with the surgery. They are here to support both the clinical team and yourselves. They are here to deal with your enquiries and will make every effort to help you.   

The Practice Manager

Deborah Slade, our practice manager is responsible for the efficient administration of Medwyn Surgery. Her aim is to provide expert and friendly healthcare to you and your family. Your suggestions and ideas are always welcome.
